Wood, a natural and living material, has morphological and physical characteristics that are in continuous evolution, especially with changes of temperature, humidity, hot or cold air, exposure to sunlight.
Small cracks or fissures, knots, variety in the veining (hardly homogenous) are all characteristic elements of wood and therefore cannot be considered defects.
